Project Description:
The Base Civil Engineering Complex is a design/build project. It consists of 70,000 square feet of
administrative offices, warehouse and shops. A team of professionals lead by David
Construction, Inc performed the design. The design team was able to meet the diverse functionality this
building required. The warehouse and shops required a special overhead crane system that had to be carefully
integrated into the building design.
The structure is a masonry building with a standing seam metal roof. The brick veneer matches the unique theme of the architecture found in the Grissom Air Reserve Base. The facility has a state of the art security system for both property and personnel. This was a mission critical project that had to come on line on time. We met our commitment dates and delivered to the owner an outstanding facility that fully satisfied our owner’s needs.
